We are an international company emphasizing staff training, development, and cutting-edge expertise. Due to growth, we seek a Building Surveyor for our team in Epsom, working within the Chichester and West Sussex area.

The Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple projects across sectors, providing a range of building surveying duties.
• Undertaking feasibility studies, producing specifications, estimating costs, obtaining approvals, and administering refurbishment contracts.
• Applying standard forms of building contract like JCT and NEC.
• Providing professional building surveying services.
• Mentoring junior Building Surveyors in the APC program.
• Ensuring quality, safety, and environmental principles are integrated into project management.
• Supporting senior managers in daily activities.
• Line managing junior Building Surveyors.
• Conducting surveys, inspections, and managing schemes in the Southwest East Region.
• Assisting in developing fee proposals and bids.

The Requirements:

• A B.Sc. (Hons) in Building Surveying or a similar RICS-accredited degree.
• Chartered status (highly desirable).
• Extensive building surveying knowledge and experience.
• Experience managing client expectations, profitability, and business development.
• Mentoring and managing workloads and projects.
• Proficiency in drafting technical documents and bids.
• Full understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
• Excellent time management, punctuality, and attention to detail.
