Job summary

Its Building People is recruiting a Senior Building Surveyor to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol. You will work across a varied portfolio of projects, supporting both public and private sector clients.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or an RICS-accredited degree.
• Chartered Building Surveyor status or progress towards chartership.
• Significant professional experience across building surveying services.
• Strong technical surveying knowledge and experience delivering refurbishment and improvement projects.
• Proven experience managing client relationships with commercial awareness.
• Experience managing projects, workloads and competing priorities.
• Strong report writing and technical documentation skills including requirements, asset reviews, feasibility studies, specifications and drawings.
• Experience in dilapidations, party wall, fire risk and access assessments beneficial.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Building Surveyor to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to work across a varied portfolio of projects, supporting both public and private sector clients.

About you:

• A BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or another relevant RICS-accredited degree.
• Chartered Building Surveyor status or significant progress towards chartership.
• Significant professional experience across a broad range of building surveying services.
• Strong technical surveying knowledge and experience delivering refurbishment and improvement projects.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and understanding commercial and profitability considerations.
• Experience managing projects, workloads and competing priorities.
• Strong report writing and technical documentation skills, including requirements, asset reviews, feasibility studies, specifications and drawings.
• Experience in specialist building surveying areas such as dilapidations, party wall matters, fire risk and access assessments would be beneficial.
