Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join its Building Consultancy team in Bristol. You will deliver a full range of professional surveying services, manage projects, and help develop client relationships across commercial, residential, rural properties.

MRICS qualification is preferred though APC progress with strong consultancy experience will be considered. Hybrid working, a comprehensive benefits package, and ongoing APC support are available.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• MRICS qualification is preferred, although APC progress will be considered for strong consultancy applicants.
• Experience working within a construction consultancy environment.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Ability to support and develop junior members of the team.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a full range of professional building surveying services to a diverse client base.
• Undertake building surveys across commercial, residential and rural properties.
• Prepare and negotiate schedules of dilapidations.
• Produce schedules of condition and negotiate with professional representatives where required.
• Manage refurbishment, conversion and new build projects through project management and contract administration.
• Prepare feasibility studies and technical reports.
• Undertake the Principal Designer role on smaller projects in accordance with CDM 2015.
• Provide Party Wall services under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development.
• Assist with mentoring junior surveyors and contribute to the continued growth of the team.
