Job Description: Senior Building Surveyor

As a Senior Building Surveyor, the role involves ensuring all surveying work complies with statutory requirements and internal system standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Contract administration on surveying missions, preparing specifications and drawings, conducting various building surveys, and providing design solutions and reports.
• Advising on building pathology problems, handling Party Wall matters, and exploring new work opportunities.

What You Need:

• Technical Expertise: Chartered Surveyor/CIOB with a minimum of 5 years of experience within the building environment, both on and off-site. Proficiency in Level 3 Building Surveys, Dilapidations, Party Wall matters, and Defect Diagnostic Investigations.
• Project Management: Experience in Project Management, including Contract Administration and Employer’s Agent roles. Ability to use Workbench, Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project.
• Standards Compliance: Ensuring project work meets relevant technical and professional standards. Knowledge of public and private sector clients, particularly in housing, transport, and education.
• Client Relations: Developing and maintaining close relationships with clients, liaising with group representatives, other consultants, and contractors. Managing individual client workloads and framework agreements.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Assisting and mentoring junior staff. Monitoring work to ensure quality and proactively ensuring customer service delivery.
