JOB DESCRIPTION: Senior Building Surveyor / Building Services / Property

Your main responsibility will be to provide a full building surveying service to a range of clients across different sectors. As a Senior Building Surveyor, the expectation will be to give support and advice to other members of the surveying team.

In addition to this your main duties will include:
· Provide professional building surveying duties including building inspections, acquisition surveys, dilapidations, contract administration, maintenance and refurbishment projects, schedules of condition, party wall awards.
· Working on a variety of projects valued up to £1 million in a range of properties including commercial, residential and agricultural.
· Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new clients nationally and locally.
· Generation of business opportunities.
· Develop and maintain an up-to-date awareness of all necessary legislation sharing knowledge and information where appropriate.

To be successful in becoming our new Senior Building Surveyor it is advantageous to have worked on a variety of projects covering different aspects of building surveying, such as condition surveys, dilapidations, project management, and building pathology. We are looking for someone who is tenacious when it comes to business development creating new opportunities commercially.

It is essential that you:
· Are a member of RICS and are RICS qualified.
· Have a proven track record providing advice on a range of building related matters.
· Can confidently communicate with stakeholders both verbally and written.
· Hold a full UK driving licence.
