Job summary

RLB International is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join our Built Asset Consultancy in Sheffield. You will lead client‑facing projects, manage commissions, prepare designs and specifications, and deliver pre‑acquisition surveys and asset condition schedules.

The role requires degree in Building Surveying and MRICS or equivalent, with a proactive, team‑oriented approach. We offer hybrid working, a supportive APC mentoring program, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare

Role Overview

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or similar technical discipline
• MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body

Experience

• CDM / Health & Safety exposure
• Project based experience
• Ability to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner
• Excellent specification writing skills
• Good knowledge of JCT Contracts
• Track record in project management of projects from inception to completion
• Evidence of working with multiple stakeholders
• Experience working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
• Previously employed by a consultancy
