Job summary

Rider Levett Bucknall in Leeds is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join our Built Asset Consultancy team. The role offers a clear career path, client-facing responsibilities, and a chance to work on high-profile projects across the built environment.

You will deliver project management, design and specification writing, pre-acquisition surveys and asset condition schedules, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or similar technical discipline.
• MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body.
• CDM/Health & Safety exposure.
• Project-based experience managing complex projects.
• Excellent specification writing skills.
• Good knowledge of JCT Contracts.
• Track record in managing projects from inception to completion.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience leading teams and meeting deadlines.
• Previously employed by a consultancy.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or similar technical discipline

Experience

• CDM / Health & Safety exposure
• Project based experience
• Ability to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner
• Excellent specification writing skills
• Good knowledge of JCT Contracts
• Track record in project management of projects from inception to completion
• Evidence of working with multiple stakeholders
• Experience working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
• Previously employed by a consultancy
