Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Building Surveying Manager in Ipswich to lead a team of Chartered surveyors and technical officers. You will oversee high-value repairs, major capital improvement programmes and complex contracts, driving quality, safety, and customer outcomes.

You will coordinate across stakeholders, prepare contracts and drawings, and guide service improvements while ensuring adherence to regulations and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Chartered Building Surveyor with proven delivery of surveys and repairs.
• Strong leadership and coaching experience across mixed technical teams.
• Experience coordinating with senior management and elected members.
• Demonstrated budgeting, procurement, and contract oversight skills.
• Ability to produce clear professional reports for decision-makers.
• Experience training non-technical staff on building subjects.
