Job summary

Valleys to Coast Housing in Bridgend, Wales, is seeking a Building Surveying and Decarbonisation Manager to lead our surveying team and drive our decarbonisation agenda. Qualifications

• Experience leading surveying teams.
• Strong commercial, performance and financial acumen.
• Knowledge of WHQS 2023, HHSRS and Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for complex building issues and defect works.
• Coordinate building insurance claims and boundary disputes.
• Champion damp, mould and condensation policy to ensure tenant safety and compliance.
• Lead the preparation of tenders and oversee delivery partners to ensure works are on time and within budget.
