Carriera is seeking an experienced Associate Building Surveyor to join our Cardiff team, taking a senior position with a clear route to Director. The role combines project and professional surveying with leadership, client management and business development across offices, industrial, retail and public sector property.

The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership, oversee own clients, mentor junior surveyors and help grow the Cardiff practice.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualified Building Surveyor with consultancy experience.
• Experience across offices, industrial, retail and/or public sector property.
• Ability to deliver both project and professional instructions and manage client relationships.
• Strong mentoring and people-development skills.

• Contract administration and project delivery
• Refurbishment, alteration and improvement projects
• Planned maintenance and capital works
• Building surveys and technical due diligence

• Defect diagnosis and building pathology
