Tai Tarian in Wales is recruiting a permanent, full-time Building Surveyor to assess building condition, identify defects, diagnose root causes and develop cost-effective solutions. We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time position with a competitive pay and benefits package including a salary of £43,448 per year.
Reporting to the Property Surveying Manager, the Building Surveyor is responsible for assessing the condition and performance of buildings, identifying defects and risks, diagnosing root causes and developing appropriate, proportionate and cost-effective solutions.
The role will contribute to the delivery of retrofit, energy efficiency and fabric improvement programmes, ensuring that technical solutions consider whole-building performance, sustainability and the longer-term requirements of the property portfolio.
Working with internal teams, and external stakeholders, the role provides technical advice to support the safe, compliant, sustainable and effective management, maintenance and improvement of homes and buildings.
To be successful in the role of Building Surveyor you will be educated to a degree standard or have equivalent experience. You will also be a Qualified DEA/Retrofit Assessor or have the commitment to work towards.
