Job summary

NG Bailey Group in Leeds is seeking mechanically/electrically biased Project Engineers or Senior Project Engineers to work on projects across the Yorkshire region, primarily Sheffield, Doncaster or Chesterfield. You will lead delivery, ensuring activities are safe, on-spec, profitable and meet customer satisfaction.

This is a permanent staff role with NG Bailey Group, and the successful candidate will need to obtain security clearance once in post.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience with mechanical/electrical installations in a construction environment.
• Experience on high-value mechanical and electrical building services projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is visible across all activities on the project.
• Participate in pre-commencement activities to maximise opportunities, efficiency and profitability.
• Review the project scope to ensure precise provision of customer requirements.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and opportunities.
• Ensure engineering solutions meet financial and commercial objectives.
• Provide timely site progress information to stakeholders.
• Manage subcontract resources where applicable.
• Provide leadership to project team members to maximise performance.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Ensure project close-out aligns with customer requirements and maximises profitability.

Education

Industry recognised trade or professional mechanical/electrical qualification

Specific experience on high value mechanical and electrical building service projects
