We are recruiting for Senior Building Services Managers to join our public sector construction teams, working on projects up to GBP120m in value. The role involves managing onsite M&E teams, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and design consultants, and ensuring project compliance and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead Bovis Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) team or major trade packages on site.
• Report to the Project Lead, produce design reviews, manage tenders, construction, and post-construction obligations.
• Review design and installation drawings for compliance with employer and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with value engineering, variations, disputes, tender submissions, and pre-construction activities.
• Produce scope of works for consultants and subcontractors, review tender submissions.
• Coordinate with client's representatives, design consultants, and subcontractors.
• Monitor and manage design within a design and construct contract framework.
• Oversee installation, procurement, construction, and commissioning programs.
• Chair meetings related to M&E design, construction, and progress, reporting on site progress and issues.
• Maintain close liaison with onsite construction team, conduct inspections for workmanship, compliance, and safety.
• Ensure high-quality standards and proactively address quality issues.

Experience & Background:

• CSCS Manager's Card Holder
• Deep knowledge of the construction industry
• Understanding of health and safety regulations, CDM, and safety policies
• Ability to recognize and promote safe practices
• Strategic thinker with visionary outlook
• Comprehensive understanding of building services, design principles, construction, commissioning, and handover
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate with subcontractors, consultants, and team members
• Proven ability to deliver work packages and meet commercial targets
