ERP Limited in Wiltshire is seeking an experienced Senior Building Services Engineer to provide technical leadership across a complex estate. You will act as the senior technical authority, guiding operation, maintenance and long-term performance of critical building services assets.

The role requires a strong background in building services engineering, with chartered status or working towards it, and proven ability to manage subcontractors, lead investigations and deliver engineering

Qualifications

A degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards chartership.
Strong experience across building services engineering in complex commercial, industrial, defence or FM environments.
Practical knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, hot and cold-water systems, heat pumps, BMS and control systems.
Experience investigating complex engineering issues and carrying out root cause analysis.
Experience producing technical reports and engineering recommendations.

Responsabilités

Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across building services disciplines.
Act as the senior technical authority and escalation point for complex engineering issues and operational risks.
Lead root cause investigations, identify recurring defects and implement engineering solutions to improve reliability.
Evaluate asset performance and develop lifecycle replacement strategies to support long-term operational resilience.
Provide technical support during major incidents, service disruptions and business continuity events.
Work closely with operational teams, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure engineering standards and requirements are maintained.
Coach, mentor and develop technical capability across the wider engineering and estates teams.
Produce and review technical reports, investigations and engineering recommendations.
