Job summary

Tidworth, Wiltshire-based Senior Building Services Engineer role as Estates Technical Assurance Lead, reporting to the Head of Estates and serving as the senior technical authority for Hard FM/building services across the contract.

You will lead root cause investigations, develop lifecycle replacement plans, and support major incidents while mentoring technical teams and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or related discipline; Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
• Experience in design, operation and maintenance of HVAC, water systems, heat pumps, BMS and control systems; experience writing technical reports and managing subcontractors.
• Analytical, with strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior technical authority for Hard FM/building services across the contract.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement engineering solutions to improve reliability and reduce risk.
• Develop lifecycle replacement plans to support long-term operational resilience and business continuity.
• Support major incidents and service disruptions, helping restore critical services.
• Coach and develop technical capability across teams and build stakeholder relationships.
