Huws Gray is recruiting a Senior Sales Person at the Saffron Walden branch. You will build strong customer and supplier relationships, support teammates, and help grow sales and profitability. A background in building materials and a passion for helping customers choose the right products are essential.

You’ll work with the branch team across the yard and counter, delivering a positive, personalised experience and driving the customer journey from enquiry to sale.

Qualificações

• Experience in a builders' merchant or sales-focused role is essential.
• Knowledge of building materials and product applications is required.
• Experience leading or supporting a team would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Build connections with customers in person or by phone and offer confident advice.
• Create tailored quotes and convert enquiries into opportunities.
• Manage day‑to‑day admin and keep processes running smoothly.
• Guide customers to the right products with up-to-date knowledge.
• Maintain tidy, well‑stocked displays for easy customer access.
• Collaborate with branch teams to ensure correct materials first time.
