The Building Control Surveyor's Role

As the Building Control Surveyor, you will lead the newly formed BSA Principal Design team, oversee high-profile projects, and ensure all designs comply with the latest safety regulations. You will manage a team of specialists and provide strategic advice to clients on meeting their obligations under the Building Safety Act.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the BSA Principal Design team, ensuring compliance with Building Safety Act regulations.
• Oversee delivery of Principal Design services, ensuring compliance with safety standards and risk management procedures.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance on design and regulatory matters.
• Liaise with project teams to ensure effective communication and implementation of safety measures.
• Develop internal policies and procedures aligned with BSA requirements.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with statutory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification in Building Control, Architecture, or a related discipline.
