A local authority in England seeks a Registered Building Inspector to manage applications, ensure compliance with regulations, and respond to safety issues. This hybrid role offers a salary range of £44,075 - £47,181 per year, aiming to deliver high-quality building control services while promoting employee wellbeing and work-life balance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Building Control team. In this role, you will manage a caseload of applications, respond to dangerous structures, enforcement and demolition matters – making a real impact on the safety and quality of the built environment. Part office / part home – hybrid. We support flexibility and employee wellbeing in the way we work while delivering the best service for our customers. Working arrangements are designed to support work life balance and team collaboration. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team, and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
