A leading care provider in Heanor is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join their team. The role requires compassionate care, effective communication, and flexibility in working hours. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 or be working towards it, and responsibilities include assisting with personal care, administering medication, and liaising with healthcare professionals. This position offers ongoing training and development opportunities.

We are looking for people who are passionate about providing an outstanding level of care and going the extra mile for our residents. We currently have a vacancy at Heanor Park care home for full-time or part-time hours a week!
As a Senior Care Assistant with Ashmere, you will be communicating effectively and professionally with the residents, colleagues, relatives, and visitors at all times. You will show compassion towards our residents and ensure that their needs are met. You will assist with personal care and assist with meal times when needed.
The ideal candidate must be flexible in working all shifts.
You will be responsible for staff allocation, administering medication, liaising with the home manager, GP’s, nurses, and other outside professionals, which can all make for a busy shift!
You will need an NVQ3 or be working towards completing it. However, we can support you with this should you be successful in gaining a role with us.
