Waterman Aspen in Wakefield is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join the Yorkshire & Humber team. You will work on a varied client base and contribute to technical progression while broadening your horizons through secondments.

Formación

• Essential: UK experience in engineering environment.
• Experience delivering bridge/highway structure design, assessment, inspection or maintenance.
• Ability to independently undertake structural analysis, calculations and detailed design.
• Confident applying DMRB, Eurocodes or British Standards.
• Experience producing AIPs, assessment reports, design statements, BoQs or PCI packs.
• Understanding CDM Regulations and applying them on projects.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver bridge/highway structure design and assessment projects.
• Independently perform structural analysis and detailed design tasks.
• Prepare reports, statements, specifications and PCI packs.
• Apply CDM regulations across project work.
• Mentor engineers and supervise small teams when required.

Experience required…

Essential:

• UK experience within a public, private or third sector engineering environment.
• Experience delivering bridge or highway structure design, assessment, inspection or maintenance projects.
• Ability to independently undertake structural analysis, calculations and detailed design.
• Confident in applying DMRB, Eurocodes and/or relevant British Standards.
• Experience producing AIPs, assessment reports, design statements, specifications, BoQs or PCI packs.
• Understanding of CDM Regulations and experience applying them on projects.
• Proficient with industry standard structural analysis software.
• HNC/HND/BEng/BSc/MEng or equivalent.
• Working toward IEng/CEng or recently achieved.

Desirable:

• Experience mentoring engineers or supervising small teams.
• Experience with digital asset management systems.
• Experience in inspections or asset management planning.
• Awareness of temporary works and complex structural assessments.
