Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for a Derbyshire-based role within a renowned highways consultancy. The role focuses on leading design and delivery across National Highways, private developers, and local authorities, with hybrid working in place.

You will guide junior engineers, manage projects to time and budget, and contribute to client meetings while maintaining high standards of safety and regulatory compliance, and you will develop design options, support senior

Qualifications

• Significant experience in bridge engineering, ideally within the highways sector.
• Chartered Engineer status or close to achieving chartered status.
• Strong understanding of bridge design principles and relevant software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with National Highways, private developers, and local authorities.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Flexibility to work four days in the office and one day from home.
