Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an 8b Consultant Radiographer to support the breast imaging service and NHS breast screening programme at Wycombe Hospital. Responsibilities include providing expert assessment and diagnosis, developing services in line with national guidance, and contributing to supervision and professional standards within the Breast

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiography or equivalent.
• Post Graduate Award in Mammography or equivalent and at least three other breast imaging related post graduate award
• MSc in breast imaging award
• HCPC Registration

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert care to patients with breast disease or at risk.
• Participate in decision-making to improve patient outcomes.
• Develop Breast Services with management and other senior clinicians.
• Adhere to professional codes and local policies; engage in supervision and peer review.
