Job summary

QinetiQ Limited is seeking a Senior Design and Brand Manager in Farnborough. You will lead the development, governance and delivery of the Group’s brand and visual identity, ensuring high-quality communications that enhance reputation and showcase expertise.

You will manage a design team, collaborate with marcomms, and oversee agencies to deliver brand-aligned outputs across campaigns and assets, while driving innovation and ensuring consistency with global campaigns.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, layout, colour theory and visual storytelling
• Deep understanding of brand strategy, positioning and architecture
• Strong understanding of reputation management and the role brand plays in business growth
• Ability to balance brand consistency with commercial and operational needs
• Experience delivering integrated campaigns, corporate communications and marketing assets
• Awareness of emerging design trends and technologies, including AI-assisted creative tools
• Ability to project manage projects and take accountability

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, impactful creative solutions that strengthen, protect and enhance the Group’s brand reputation while showcasing its innovation and world-class expertise.
• Support the development, implementation and governance of the corporate brand strategy across all channels and touchpoints.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing Design team delivering outputs aligned with brand guidelines.
• Develop relationships with marcomms and design specialists to ensure coherence of design and branding across sectors.
• Manage agencies and suppliers delivering on-demand design and key services to improve value for money.
• Lead artistic innovation in line with brand guidelines and explore new techniques to create meaningfully impactful designs.
• Develop skills aligned with future strategy and coach the team to grow their expertise.
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistent branding with global campaigns.
