Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Borrowing Writer to elevate the company's writing across borrowing and credit projects. You'll work within the Writing discipline, collaborating with engineers, designers and lawyers to produce clear, customer-focused messaging.

You'll cover in-app copy, error messages and legal wording, while championing plain language and data-informed improvements. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers hybrid London/UK remote work.

Qualifications

• Understanding borrowing and credit products.
• Skilled in content design, UX writing, and product writing.
• Able to cut jargon and simplify complex language.
• Willing to use data and research to guide decisions.
• Able to switch between tasks daily.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a Product Designer on in-app screens.
• Collaborate with a Product Marketer on messaging toolkits for web, growth marketing or CRM.
• Attend user research sessions with the Research team.
• Write error messages with input from engineers.
• Edit legal wording with in-house lawyers.
