Job summary

Monzo is hiring a Borrowing Writer to strengthen our Writing discipline within the Marketing team. Based in London or remote in the UK, this 12-month fixed-term contract focuses on loans, credit cards, overdrafts and related projects, using clear, empathetic language.

You’ll collaborate with designers, marketers and researchers to craft messaging that helps customers understand and use borrowing products. You’ll live Monzo’s tone of voice—straightforward kindness, everyday magic and warm

Qualifications

• you understand borrowing and credit products well
• content design and UX writing experience
• product writing experience
• ability to use data and research to guide decisions
• comfortable bouncing between tasks daily
• training or coaching others in writing is a plus

Responsibilities

• collaborating with a Product Designer on in-app screens
• collaborating with a Product Marketer on messaging toolkits
• sitting in on user research sessions
• writing error messages with input from engineers
• editing legal wording with in-house lawyers
• supporting borrowing and credit related projects
