Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join our client's growing team. This pivotal role involves working closely with a broad spectrum of clients across various sizes and industries, offering significant variety in your daily responsibilities. You will be engaged in bookkeeping, preparing management accounts, and handling VAT work.

  1. Perform daily bookkeeping using Xero accounting software, including invoice processing and bank reconciliations.
  2. Review bookkeeping work prepared by junior team members.
  3. Post monthly wages journals.
  4. Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts to a high standard.
  5. Prepare and file monthly and quarterly VAT returns under various VAT schemes.
  6. Prepare and file monthly CIS returns.
  7. Liaise with clients on queries and submissions.
  8. Provide training to clients on Xero.
  9. Undertake other ad-hoc duties as required.
