Job summary

Crucial People Ltd is seeking an experienced BMS Project Engineer to work on large‑scale London projects where controls engineering requires more advanced delivery. You’ll develop control strategies, produce IO wiring information and equipment schedules, and support commissioning through handover.

The role requires substantial BMS experience with Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Siemens or ALC, plus Niagara knowledge and HVAC understanding.

Qualifications

• Strong background in BMS project engineering, commissioning or project delivery.
• Experience with at least one of Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Siemens or ALC.
• Niagara knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems.
• Ability to interpret and modify BMS control strategies and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed design and project engineering for major BMS projects across London.
• Translate requirements into IO wiring information and equipment schedules.
• Prepare RFIs and technical submittals; resolve design queries.
• Support commissioning, witnessing, and handover with project team and contractors.
• Coordinate with panel shop and procurement for equipment selection.
