Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is looking for Senior, Principal, Associate, and Associate Director Controls engineers to join their Building Technology Systems team. The role involves developing innovative HVAC control designs and engaging in multi-disciplinary projects.

Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in building management systems, project management, and technical documentation. Candidates with a Mechanical Engineering background and knowledge of control systems are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Understanding of BMS software and best practices.
• Ability to design and specify implementation of building control systems.
• Awareness of HVAC technology trends and energy consumption.
• Knowledge of specialist building systems including fire safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and engineer industry-leading HVAC control designs.
• Coordinate delivery of HVAC controls and system integration.
• Engage with design teams to advocate for smart building outcomes.
• Produce detailed performance specifications for the BMS discipline.

Skills

Strategic BMS Controls engineering experience

Delivery of HVAC description of operations

Consulting experience

Mechanical Engineering background
