Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate Building Technology Systems Engineer to lead smart building design and system integration projects in the UK. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with Architects, Engineers and specialists, and drive delivery from inception through handover to clients.

The role focuses on integrating building systems with enterprise IT, cybersecurity considerations, and emerging AI applications to create future-ready environments across Manchester and other UK sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in Smart Building Technology design and project delivery.
• Ability to develop solution architectures that integrate building systems with IT infrastructure.
• Experience leading from concept to detailed design.
• Ability to engage with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of smart building integration projects from inception to handover.
• Coordinate across architecture, engineering and consultants.
• Provide technical leadership for BTS workstreams.
• Develop digital strategies for smart buildings.
