Job summary

Ubique Systems UK Limited is seeking senior Backend and Blockchain Engineers to design and develop enterprise-grade services for digital asset products. You will build APIs, microservices, and blockchain integration components in a fast-paced, banking-standard environment.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering or architecture, strong stakeholder skills, and fluent English. You will join cross-functional agile teams in a London-based setting supporting scalable, secure systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solution design, or architecture roles.
• Strong stakeholder management experience across business and technology domains.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working in Agile organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fluent English communication skills (C1 level or above).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade Backend services using Java.
• Build APIs and microservices supporting digital asset products.
• Develop scalable and resilient systems aligned with banking standards.
• Ensure high availability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Blockchain-related business logic and workflows implementation.
• Develop components supporting Smart contract interactions, minting/burning processes, asset transfer flows, and wallet management.
• Integrate external blockchain networks into client digital asset ecosystem.
• Build integrations with digital asset custody and wallet providers.
• Collaborate on SaaS blockchain platform implementation initiatives.
• Follow secure coding and software engineering best practices.
• Participate in architecture reviews and design discussions.
• Support production readiness and security/compliance requirements.
• Work within cross-functional agile teams with architects, DevOps, and product owners.
