Qualifications

8+ years of experience in civil and structural engineering.
Chartered with an appropriate Engineering Council institution.
Attained or working towards Principal Membership of the Register of Security Engineers and Specialists.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work outside conventional design codes and practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a drive to become an acknowledged expert.
Understanding of risk and risk mitigation with an analytical approach to problems in physical security R&D.
Strong commercial aptitude and ability to manage resources for small projects.
Ability to prepare concise reports documenting surveys, trials and analyses.

Responsibilities

Lead projects, managing scope, budgets, and resources, including junior engineers and technicians.
Liaise with clients and design teams to deliver project outcomes.
Undertake specialist engineering analysis to determine building response to explosions.
Carry out engineering analysis and design of hostile vehicle mitigation measures.
Attend and manage explosive blast trials, vehicle impact tests, and physical attack trials.
