Job summary

The ideal candidate is chartered or near chartership, with 5–8 years' experience, strong engineering fundamentals, and experience in seismic/dynamic analysis; familiarity with FEA/CFD is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Chartered or nearing chartership (ICE, IStructE, IMechE, etc.).
• Approximately 5-8 years of relevant industrial experience, or less with related PhD.
• Seismic engineering and/or dynamic analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering projects, engaging with clients, and providing oversight and support to junior staff.
• The role involves engaging with clients and helping to prepare project proposals as part of the office business development activity.
• Develop specialist structural expertise in areas such as seismic analysis, blast and explosion response, fatigue and failure assessment, probabilistic analyses; coding and/or numerical simulation (FEA or CFD) would be advantageous.
