• Must be an NMC registered nurse with significant post-registration experience in bladder and bowel care.
• Demonstrated specialist knowledge and advanced clinical assessment skills.
• Experience in clinical leadership, supervision and workforce development.
• Commitment to education, service improvement and integrated working.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading change and supporting teams through transformation.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert assessment, management and advice for patients with complex bladder and bowel needs.
• Deliver clinical leadership and specialist oversight across Integrated Neighbourhood Teams.
• Support and supervise specialist nurses and wider multidisciplinary staff delivering bladder and bowel care.
• Lead training, competency development and clinical supervision programmes.
• Drive quality improvement, service development, audit and innovation.
• Work collaboratively with community, primary care, acute and care home colleagues to develop integrated pathways.
• Contribute to the development of a city-wide approach to bladder and bowel care, ensuring safe, effective and equitable services for patients.
