Job summary

TGS International Group is seeking an experienced Senior BIM Technician in London to join our CAD, design and project delivery team. You will develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models in Revit and Navisworks, translating 2D drawings into coordinated model content and ensuring designs are fully resolved before site release.

You will lead BIM coordination activities, perform clash detection and engage with engineers, designers and trades to resolve issues, while producing reliable BIM outputs in

Qualifications

• Experience as BIM Technician or Senior BIM Technician in MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Experience developing 3D BIM models from 2D drawings and technical documentation.
• Ability to coordinate BIM models across multiple trades and disciplines.
• Clash detection experience using Navisworks and coordinating clashes to close-out.
• Understanding of BIM Execution Plans and project BIM standards.
• CSCS card holder required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using Revit and Navisworks.
• Translate 2D drawings into accurate BIM content and ensure coordination across trades.
• Coordinate model content across disciplines and ensure adherence to BIM standards.
• Tagging, annotation and data enrichment of model components as per project specs.
• Perform clash detection and drive resolutions with design teams.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and provide technical BIM input.
• Support wider CAD functions and generate outputs from BIM data.
• Produce 2D drawings from BIM content for issue to site.
