Job summary

Cundall’s Birmingham Building Services team is seeking a Building Services Technician or Senior Building Services Technician to join our Birmingham office to produce and coordinate BIM models and drawings for RIBA Stages 2-4 MEP design across local and international projects.

You will implement standards, manage models from setup to final issue, input data in COBie/IFC/Uniclass, run clash detection with Navisworks, and contribute to automation with the in-house Digital Team.

Qualifications

• Experience in BIM and Revit in a consultancy or contractor environment.
• Understanding of RIBA Plan of Work and BIM Execution Plans is advantageous.
• Keen to work with ISO 19650 concepts and dedicated to standards and templates.

Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate BIM models and drawings for RIBA Stages 2-4 MEP design.
• Manage models from setup through to final issue with asset data.
• Input COBie, IFC, Uniclass data as required.
• Review clash detection and provide reports to engineers to aid coordination.
• Contribute to Automation Developments for Revit & BIM with the Digital Team.
