Job summary

Planning Recruitment is seeking an experienced Information Manager (BIM) to join a Nottingham architectural practice. You will manage BIM workflows and Information Management across multiple projects, ensuring compliant delivery and alignment with ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework.

You will lead BIM coordination, develop internal standards, train teams, and support bid submissions, with hybrid 50% office/100% remote working options and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Revit, Solibri and BIM interoperability tools.
• Excellent knowledge of ISO 19650, the UK BIM Framework and Information Management best practice.
• Solid understanding of IFC hierarchy, export settings and BIM workflows.
• Experience with COBie data and Information Management deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Review project Information Management requirements and produce BIM documentation (BEPs, DRMs, TIDPs).
• Establish Information Management validation processes using Solibri and IDS.
• Perform structured reviews of federated IFC models, including clash detection and asset data validation.
• Manage issue tracking and lead BIM coordination meetings.
• Provide BIM training and guidance to project teams and partners.
• Support BIM model setup, IFC exports and CDE workflows.
