Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Senior Digital Engineer - BIM to shape digital delivery across defence and nuclear programmes. You will influence how information, models and data are created, shared and governed to support safe, efficient delivery and industry-leading digital standards.

Role offers hybrid working with up to two days in the office, and development opportunities within a global FTSE 100 organisation focused on national infrastructure and security.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 and digital information management processes.
• Skilled in BIM workflows such as clash detection, design coordination and data reviews (COBie/IFC).
• Experience developing BIM Execution Plans and information delivery plans (MIDP/TIDP).
• Knowledge of common data environments (CDEs); Asite experience desirable.
• Experience in highly regulated environments (nuclear/defence) with stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and improvement of BIM and digital engineering processes.
• Conduct model audits, clash detection and design coordination with stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain guidance documentation, templates and digital standards.
• Review and interpret client digital and BIM requirements for high-quality documentation.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams on digital standards and information workflows.
