Senior BIM Architect - Lead Multi-Disc Design & 3D

Job summary

Costain Manchester Office is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to lead multi-discipline architectural designs, deliver 3D BIM models, and ensure interfaces are accurately defined in line with the BIM Execution Plan.

You will collaborate with vendors, supervise deliverables, support tender work, and mentor junior engineers while maintaining UK standards and CDM 2015 requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Architectural Technology (BSc), Architecture (BArch) or similar professional qualification
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industry or practice
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and MS Office
• In-depth understanding of BIM and BS EN ISO 19650
• Experience at Concept/FEED stages and UK design standards

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop key work packages of multi-discipline designs across the project lifecycle
• Prepare architectural deliverables including models, drawings, diagrams, schedules and reports
• Produce and manage 3D models in line with the BIM Execution Plan
• Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines, vendors and suppliers
• Undertake QA/QC activities within the Common Data Environment and monitor progress
