Job summary

Amazon Shipping is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Billing and Accounting to lead the end-to-end product workstreams that drive accurate billing, reconciliations, and on-time payments across regions. You will craft narratives, define requirements, and align operations, pricing, accounting, tax, and engineering to implement a consolidated platform.

Qualifications

• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with end-to-end product delivery
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience as a product manager or owner
• Experience delivering billing, invoicing, payments, or other financial-systems products
• Experience delivering billing, invoicing, payments, or other financial-systems products.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of defined billing and accounting product workstreams within the charter, connecting accurate, frictionless financial experiences to growth and control across the business
• Write the product narratives and requirements that define new capabilities and drive alignment across operations, pricing, accounting, tax, and engineering
• Balance near-term operational and compliance needs with longer-term investment in a consolidated billing platform
• Work with engineering to deliver billing and accounting capabilities into the platform and the tools operations teams use every day
• Make sequencing and scope tradeoffs to deliver impact incrementally while protecting live financial operations
• Define clear acceptance criteria for operational and accounting adoption
