Job summary

Workman LLP is seeking an experienced Bid & Proposals Manager to lead high-quality bids, proposals and presentations across the firm, improving commercial processes and bringing structure to how opportunities are pursued.

You will collaborate with Partners, fee-earners, subject matter experts and external suppliers to drive conversion of business development opportunities, and lead major tenders from qualification through to submission and interview.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in bids or proposals within professional services
• Experience leading complex bids from qualification to submission and interview
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
• Excellent presentation, writing and client-facing communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage full bid and tender processes from qualification to submission and presentation
• Improve quality and commercial impact of bids, proposals and presentations across the firm
• Coordinate BD interactions with clients and prospects including meetings, credentials, pitches and interview prep
• Manage bid content libraries and knowledge systems (Loopio)
• Contribute to better processes, templates and collateral for winning work
• Coordinate lessons learned and post‑submission reviews to improve win rates
