Job summary

Gateley is seeking a Bid Manager to support partners in winning profitable work through the tender process. You will own and project-manage responses to formal tender opportunities and produce credentials and proposals across the Property Platform, supporting our property lawyers and built environment consultants.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a bid or tender management role in a B2B environment.
• Experience of working on formal tenders.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to influence.
• Ability to maintain and develop client relationships at a senior level.
• Fastidious attention to detail.
• Excellent IT and numeracy skills.
• Strong personal organisation skills.
• Ability to prioritise own workload.
• Work well under pressure.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated and capable of taking ownership of tasks.
• Working within a team in a collaborative way.
• InDesign experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience of working in the property and/or construction sectors would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead tenders and proposals for regional and national opportunities, including legal and/or consultancy tenders and cross-platform proposals.
• Project manage tenders and proposals: initiate kickoff emails, manage progress meetings, coordinate pricing and contract reviews, ensure compliance.
• Draft, edit and proofread compelling content.
• Liaise with IT, HR, Accounts, Facilities and Compliance to ensure accuracy of submitted information.
• Ensure collateral is created within Gateley brand guidelines.
• Coach fee earners to help prepare for presentations.
• Analyse pitch wins/losses and conduct debriefs.
• Follow the bids promises process after winning opportunities.
• Collaborate with the wider Bids and Business Development teams and contribute to the Content Hub.
