Job summary

SES Technology in Sunderland is seeking a Senior Bid Manager / Pre-Construction Manager to lead all aspects of bid processes for data centres and advanced manufacturing projects. The role involves capture planning, solution design, quality responses, pricing and presentations, with a focus on turning technical concepts into a compelling client proposal.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with across the business to align commercial, technical and operational inputs, and support governance

Qualifications

• Solid experience in bid management within construction and/or MEP sectors.
• Experience bidding for data centre projects or similar complex high-tech built environments.
• Ability to translate technical ideas into clear, client-winning offers.

Responsibilities

• Lead all elements of the bid process from capture planning to final submission.
• Coordinate solution, quality response, pricing and presentations.
• Shape the narrative to address client priorities and ensure a joined-up story across commercial, operational and technical inputs.
• Support governance requirements during PCSA/ECI periods for large-value projects.
