Job summary

Thales is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead UK and international bids within the ISR team. Hybrid working with 3 on-site days per week in Crawley, you will drive qualification, bid strategy, cost estimation, and governance end-to-end.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop compelling proposals, and support customer engagements to secure successful outcomes. Security clearance requirements apply, with UK residency considerations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering complex bids.
• Experience in multidisciplinary, multi-site organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing full business development lifecycle: capture, qualification and win strategy.
• Familiarity with bid management frameworks such as Shipley.

Responsibilities

• Lead bids through full lifecycle with governance and on-time delivery.
• Manage pre-qualification submissions to secure invitations to tender.
• Coordinate development and review of proposal deliverables and win themes.
• Support cost estimates to ensure competitive proposals.
• Prepare business cases and governance materials for bid opportunities.
• Contribute to customer presentations and negotiations as needed.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders across the business.
