Job summary

Dees Cycles in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, is looking for an experienced bicycle mechanic to join a busy shop, taking in repairs, servicing cycles, liaising with customers before, during and after work.

You will build and check new bikes for sale, help maintain a safe environment for staff and customers, and assist with sales and stock handling as needed. A minimum of two years' mechanic experience and Cytec Level 2 or higher are preferred, with training offered to suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Ideally 2+ years' bicycle mechanic experience; Cytec Level 2+ preferred; training available.
• Good spoken and written English; basic IT skills are a plus.
• Willingness to identify and carry out shop tasks as part of the team.

Responsibilities

• Book in, service and repair bicycles; liaise with customers before, during and after servicing.
• Build and check new bikes for sale/display/test rides.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment for staff and customers.
• Assist across shop duties including sales and stock handling.
