The Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Bereavement Clerk to join our compassionate Bereavement Service on Wirral.

The role is part-time (15 hours per week) with working times 8am-4pm on Thursdays and Fridays, plus occasional day changes to meet service needs. You will support bereaved families with sensitivity, and assist the Bereavement Service Manager in delivering a high-quality care experience.

Competenze

• Provide empathetic support to bereaved individuals and families.
• Assist in the delivery of high quality bereavement services.
• Liaise with multi agency services to ensure a quality service.
• Support the Bereavement Service Manager and deputise when unavailable.

Mansioni

• To assist in the co-ordination of the death administration process.
• To support the Bereavement Service Manager in her role and deputise when she is unavailable.
• To advise clinicians and other staff on duties regarding the death administration process.
