Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Banking team in Exeter. You will lead and support a wide range of finance matters, including real estate, acquisition, corporate, development, project finance and impact investments, drafting facility agreements and related documents.

The role involves advising lenders and borrowers, managing multi-disciplinary transaction workstreams, mentoring junior lawyers and helping grow the practice.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years' PQE in banking and finance.
• Strong track record of leading finance transactions and managing client relationships.
• Experience across sectors such as sustainable economy, impact investing, financial services, private wealth, real estate or international finance.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence communicating at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a wide variety of finance matters, including real estate, acquisition, corporate, development, project and impact finance.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on facility agreements, security documents, intercreditor arrangements and loan notes.
• Advise lenders and borrowers on new lending arrangements, refinancings and restructurings; manage multi-disciplinary transaction workstreams.
