Job summary

Chadwick Nott is assisting a leading UK Top 100 law firm to recruit a Banking & Finance Associate or Senior Associate for its Exeter office. The role offers flexible and hybrid working, with exposure to high-quality transactions for a substantial client base.

The team handles a broad mix of banking work for lenders and borrowers, including acquisition finance, real estate finance, corporate lending, and private equity-backed deals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ PQE in Banking & Finance.
• Experience advising on a range of lending and finance transactions.
• Strong technical and drafting abilities.
• Excellent commercial awareness and client management skills.
• Confidence running matters and taking ownership of client relationships.
• A proactive approach to networking and business development.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad mix of banking and finance transactions for lenders and borrowers.
• Develop strong commercial relationships with clients and intermediaries.
• Take ownership of matters and client relationships while supporting senior team members.
• Engage in business development to grow the practice and opportunities.
