Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking an experienced Managing Associate in Banking & Finance to join our Bristol office. You will manage complex finance transactions from instruction to completion and advise lenders, borrowers and investors with autonomy while expanding relationships with existing clients.

You will collaborate with colleagues across Corporate, Real Estate and Private Wealth teams, mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' PQE in Banking & Finance.
• Experience running complex finance transactions with a high degree of autonomy.
• Background advising lenders, borrowers, investors or financial institutions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic client service.

Responsibilities

• Managing a range of banking and finance transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Advising on lending arrangements, refinancing projects and debt restructurings.
• Handling matters involving real estate finance, acquisition finance, development funding, project finance and corporate lending.
• Drafting and negotiating finance documentation and security arrangements.
• Working closely with Corporate, Real Estate and Private Wealth teams on multi-disciplinary transactions.
• Supporting UK and international deals and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team development.
• Supporting networking, business development and client growth initiatives.
