Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) for a remote role across platforms. You will design, build, and optimize high-performance services powering our fintech applications, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and clean code.

Collaborate with frontend, product, and QA teams in an agile setup. You will mentor juniors, contribute to architecture decisions, and help advance our distributed systems, security practices, and cloud deployments.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of backend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable backend code.
• Develop and integrate APIs for financial services and platforms.
• Implement security and data protection measures in line with industry standards.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to connect UI with server-side logic.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and debug across development, test, and production environments.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology stack choices.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software development.
