Job summary

Rullion Ltd is seeking a Senior Backend Python Engineer for a London-based, hybrid role. The contract is six months with potential extension, and carries a 37-hour work week.

You will work on backend cloud applications using Python and AWS, adopting a serverless-first approach within an agile team. Responsibilities include designing, testing, and deploying features, collaborating with Product, Data, Front-end, Platform, and Security teams, and advancing large-scale systems and data handling.

Qualifications

• Senior backend experience with Python.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Git and software design fundamentals.
• Experience with TDD and pair programming.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services as part of a cloud-based team.
• Use Python and AWS to power backend functionality.
• Adopt a serverless-first approach in design and implementation.
• Develop, test, and deploy new features and experiments.
